Bulldogs sweep Mount St. Mary's Friday

ANNAPOLIS, Md.  – The Bryant University men's tennis team posted a clean sweep of Mount St. Mary's on Friday night in Annapolis.

"Tonight was a clean sweep. It was a dominant performance from start to finish. Pleased with the way we maintained energy and execution. Looking forward to a very challenging day on Saturday."  

How it Happened

  • Matt Kuhar (Smithfield, R.I.) and Artur Jakubowski (Dallas, Texas) were reunited in doubles and they kick started the clean sweep with a 6-2 win at 1.
  • In singles play, Bryant held Mount to two points or less in 10 of the 12 sets played.
  • Freshmen Andrew Pregel (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Andrew Forchetti (Orange, Conn.) posted dominant wins at 5 and 6.
