Bulldogs sweep Terriers Friday

BROOKLYN, N.Y.  – The Bryant University men's tennis team opened its weekend in Brooklyn with a 7-0 victory over St. Francis Brooklyn on Friday morning.   

Bryant has now won four-straight matches.

"The guys played well. St. Francis is improved. Pleased with the way our freshmen maintained focus start to finish. Looking forward to tonight's match."

How it Happened

  • Bryant quickly earned the doubles point with a sweep of all three matches.
  • In singles play, the Bulldogs clinched the match with wins at 4, 5 and 1.
  • Freshmen Andrew Forchetti (Orange, Conn.), Andrew Pregel (Cincinnati, Ohio) and Alexander Schou (Holte, Denmark) won matches at 4, 5 and 6.
  • Senior Artur Jakubowski (Dallas, Texas) won his fifth-straight match.
