Men's Tennis awarded NEC Sportsmanship Award

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team received the Northeast Conference Men's Tennis Sportsmanship Award, the league announced on June 6.

Bryant captured its sixth-straight NEC title and competed against Columbia in the NCAA Tournament this past spring. The Bulldogs won 20 matches for the first time in DI program history and became the first program in league history to feature a ranked singles player and doubles tandem in the same season.

"It's a constant source of #NECPride that our student-athletes and coaches so fervently embrace fair play and winning with integrity," said Noreen Morris, NEC Commissioner. "I salute our team sportsmanship honorees for creating an environment of respect and support during athletic competition, and in doing so representing the NEC in such a positive manner."
