Four go 4-0 for men's tennis

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team opened the fall season with an outstanding showing at the Bryant Invitational this past weekend.

Senior Guido Argentini (Boca Raton, Fla.) posted a perfect 4-0 record on the weekend, winning both of his singles and doubles matches. Juniors Trent Massam (Wellington, New Zealand) and Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) and sophomore Alexander Schou (Holte, Denmar) also posted a 4-0 record on the weekend.

Coach Gendron's Comments

"Solid weekend of work. I am very pleased with the effort. Wilson, Trent, Guido and Alex looked very sharp to start the fall campaign. We are looking forward to a great week of practice."

How it Happened

• The Bulldogs faced BU and Bentley on the weekend, posting a 9-7 record in doubles and a 19-13 record in singles play.
• Bryant won 5-of-9 matches with BU on Saturday and also won 8-of-9 with Bentley on Sunday.
• Argentini, Massam, Dong and Schou all went 2-0 in both singles and doubles play.
