Ortiz-Garcia earns four wins in weekend at Dartmouth

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Senior Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) posted four victories to highlight a strong showing for the Bryant University men's tennis team over the weekend at the Dartmouth Invitational.

Coach Gendron's Comments

"The weekend was a little inconsistent. That being said, I am pleased with the way we finished Sunday with wins over Harvard, Brown and Cornell. Hopefully we can put together a strong week of practice to prepare for ITAs and the last few fall events."

How It Happened

• Ortiz-Garcia paired with Andrew Pregel (Cincinnati, Ohio) to wins over doubles pairing from Cornell and Yale on the weekend.
• Ortiz-Garcia also earned a pair of singles victories over players from Cornell.
• Pregel added a victory over Lechly from Harvard and Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) earned a victory over Mu from Brown.
