Men's Tennis hosts Fall Invite, visits Quinnipiac

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University men's tennis team will compete in the Bryant Fall Invite and the Quinnipiac Invitational in its penultimate week of fall competition.

Bryant will play host to Middlebury at the Bryant Tennis Courts, while also sending six to Hamden, Conn.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

• The Bulldogs last competed in the ITA Northeast Regionals last week. Bryant finished the tournament with a 3-2 overall record.
• Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) has posted eight combined victories in singles and doubles this fall.
• Trent Massam (Wellington, New Zealand) posted four wins opening weekend and also has a doubles win over Brown under his belt.

Weekend Setup

• Bryant will face Middlebury on Saturday and Sunday, beginning at 10:00 a.m. each day.
• The Bulldogs will send Andrew Forchetti (Orange, Conn.), Anshumat Srivistava (Patna, India), David Ammendola (Massapequa, N.Y.), Trevor Schwarzmann (Dartmouth, Mass.), Teague Burger (Steamboat Springs, Colo.) and Philip Belmatch (Staten Island, N.Y.) to Quinnipiac.
