Bryant falls to Dartmouth on Saturday

HANOVER, N.H. – Wilson Dong (Bradenton, Fla.) picked up a victory at No. 1 singles but it wasn't enough as the Bryant University men's tennis team fell to Dartmouth, 6-1, on Saturday afternoon.

How It Happened

  • The Big Green clinched the doubles point with victories at 1 and 2.
  • Dartmouth made it 3-0 before Dong was able to knock off Horneffer in three sets at No. 1. Dong won the first set 6-3, fell 6-2 in the second and rebounded for a 6-3 victory in the third set.
  • Guido Argentini (Boca Raton, Fla.) and Jorge Isaias Ortiz-Garcia (Trujillo Alto, Puerto Rico) took their matches to three sets at 3 and 4, ultimately falling in the third set.
