Bryant falls in NEC Quarterfinals

WEST WINDSOR, N.J. -- The Bryant University men's tennis team fell to Sacred Heart, 4-0, in the Northeast Conference Quarterfinals on Friday.

The loss ends Bryant's run of six-straight NEC titles, the longest in NEC tennis history.

How It Happened

  • Bryant grabbed the No. 2 doubles and were up 6-5 in No. 1 doubles before the Pioneers rallied. SHU clinched the point with a 7-6 (8-6) victory.
  • In singles, the Pioneers were able to clinch the match with victories at No. 2, No. 4 and No. 6.
