Enos, Thomas Named Northeast-10 Conference Pitcher and Player of the Week

Smithfield, RI - Senior Bulldog starter Janine Enos (Wareham, Mass.) was named Northeast-10 Pitcher of the Week after a 3-1 week. Enos started four games for the Bulldogs, finishing two and collecting three wins with a 0.91 ERA.
The senior's only loss came in tough-lock fashion in a 1-0 los to #16 C.W. Post. Against Pace Saturday, Enos notched 8 strikeouts in five strong innings. Enos would retire the final 13 batters to take the victory. Enos also had 26 strikeouts in 23.0 innings. With her next victory, Enos will tie the school record for career pitching victories with 40.
Kate Thomas (Bedford, NH) has been named to the Conference's weekly Honor Roll both weeks the Bulldogs have been in action. The junior outfielder hit .636 in six games last week including a five for five performance in a doubleheader sweep of Franklin Pierce. Thomas knocked two triples, a double, and a home run on the afternoon and drove in three runs while scoring four more.
