Despite losing six contributors from last year's NCAA regional finalist team, the Bulldogs are expected to field a fine team this spring. The Bulldogs received votes in the NFCA preseason poll after finishing last season in the top twenty.

The rest of the poll is rounded out by AIC, Stonehill, St. Rose, Pace, Assumption, St. Michael's, Saint Anselm, Bentley, and Franklin Pierce.

Le Moyne, Southern Connecticut, and UMass-Lowell joined Bryant in the NCAA regionals last year. In 2007, Le Moyne captured the regular season championship, and UMass-Lowell captured the conference tournament.

The Bulldogs kick their season off on March 11 at the University of Tampa.
