SOFTBALL SIGNS COLORADO STANDOUT AUBREY MABLE TO NATIONAL LETTER OF INTENT

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University head softball coach Lisa-Ann Wallace is pleased to announce the signing of standout Aubrey Mable (Aurora, Colo. / Eaglecrest HS) to a National Letter of Intent to enroll at the school and participate in intercollegiate softball this fall.

Mable, a switch-hitting infielder at Eaglecrest High School in Centennial, Colo., was a four-year starter at second base and helped lead the team to a 19-4 record in 2009 and to the Centennial League Championship.  She was named All-Centennial League First Team from 2006-09 as well as First Team All-Aurora. 

A team captain from 2007-09, Mable was a First Team All-State 5A selection in 2009 as well as named to the All-Colorado team that same year.  In addition to softball, Mable was a three time all-league selection in basketball  and twice named All-Aurora Second Team and a three-time state qualifier and team captain of the school’s golf team.

 A four-year honor roll student, Mable was named the most outstanding student and A.P. Scholar from 2006-09 and current serves as the student body president.
