Powell named to All-NEC second team

Somerset, N.J. - Senior Morgan Powell of the Bryant Univeristy softball team has been named to the All-NEC second team by the Northeast Conference on Tuesday afternoon.

Powell posted 24 hits, seven RBIs, five stolen bases, and a .436 batting average this season, which was a career-high for Powell. Powell had six multi-hit games this season, including a 4-for-5 performance against Fairleigh Dickinson. This is the first time in Powell's career that she has been named to an All-NEC team.
