TRACK'S RADZIK AND TORREY NAMED ACADEMIC ALL-CONFERENCE
SOUTH EASTON, MA - Bryant Univeristy track & field standouts Nicole Radzik (Sutton, MA) and Amber Torrey (Plainfield, NH) have been named to the Northeast-10 Conference Academic All-Conference teams the league announced today.
Radzik, the NE-10 Cross Country and NCAA Regional Champion, concluded her standout career with a strong outdoor season competing in both the 5,000 meters and 3,000 meter steeplechase. She graduated with a degree in Marketing / Pyschology, and Management concentration at Bryant.
Torrey, a standout in the women's weight throw, discus and shot put during her four year career, recently earned her degree in accounting and applied statistics with a GPA.
To be eligible for selection to the all academic team, a student-athlete must be a significant contributor to the team's competitions, achieve at least a 3.2 GPA, and be at least a sophomore in standing.
