SCOUTING THE FIGHTING ILLINI
Illinois is 3-1 so far this season recently falling to Illinois State, 74-58, in Champaign. The Fighting Illini have yet to play a road contest as they host Arkansas-Pine Bluff before welcoming Bryant to the State Farm Center. Illinois and Bryant share a common opponent in Holy Cross, and the Fighting Illini took the Crusaders into overtime outlasting them, 78-75.

Redshirt junior Petra Holešínská leads Illinois in scoring averaging 16.5 points a night, helping the Fighting Illini to a 40.8 percent field goal percentage. The 5-8 guard specializes in long-distance shooting netting 11 three's so far this season and ranks second in the Big Ten with 30 three-point attempts.

LAST TIME OUT: HOLY CROSS
For the fourth-straight game, the Bulldogs produced three double-figure scorers, but Bryant was unable to defeat Holy Cross in Worcester falling 87-75. Freshman Alana Perkins (Wauwatosa, Wis.) scored a career-best 21 points against the Crusaders shooting six-for-eight from three. Nicole Gallagher (Foxboro, Mass.) and Sydney Holloway (Morganton, W.Va.) each netted 17 points marking a season-high for Holloway.

The Bulldogs were outrebounded for the first time this season, 39-29.

CHEESE HEAD
Perkins led the Bulldogs at Holy Cross with a career-high 21 points. The rookie netted six three-pointers becoming the first Bulldog to net exactly six threes in a single game since Ivory Bailey in 2016.
