UML Ren'Cia Rolling started the run with a three-point play, while Kharis Idom and Denise Solis turned two Bryant turnovers into four points in the final 15 seconds to make it 27-24 at the break.
  • Gallagher quickly put an end to the run, hitting a three from the top of the key on Bryant's first possession of the second half.
  • It was a short respite though as the River Hawks took their first lead as they extended it to a 29-6 run. Rolling gave UML the lead at the 4:25 mark of the third quarter with a driving layup that fell home off the rim and then drilled a three to make it 38-33.
