Bryant to host Holy Cross tomorrow afternoon

SMITHFIELD, R.I. - The Bryant University women's basketball team will welcome the Crusaders of Holy Cross to Smithfield for a one o'clock tip-off.

THE SERIES
The Bulldogs are 3-9 all-time against the Crusaders. The last matchup in 2019 resulted in an 87-75 loss on the road. Alana Perkins led the way for the Bulldogs with a career-high 21 points. Perkins went 6-for-8 from the three-point line.

Juliette Golden (20), Brooke Bjelko (18), Perkins (18), Nicole Gallagher (15), Mariona Planes Fortuny (15), and Blanca Chasco with 13 points. Golden, Fortuny, and Chasco set career-highs.
  • Bjelko currently leads the Northeast Conference in rebounds (47), and rebounds per game with 7.8.
  • Bryant has been spreading the ball well, as they are top of the NEC in assists (90), and assists per game (15.0).
  • Fortuny has dominated the paint this year as she is posting marks of 54.8% and 7.0 in field goal percentage and ppg.
  • Gallagher is currently shooting 100% from the charity stripe this season (10-10).
