Bryant has strong showing at James Brown Invitational
TOWSON, Md. -- The Bryant University women's bowling team competed in the James Brown Invitational over the weekend.
Bryant finished the three-day event with a 2-9 overall record.
Friday - Baker
- Bryant opened the weekend with a victory over Howard on Friday.
- The Bulldogs then dropped a tight decision, 902-878, to 19th-ranked Medaille.
Saturday - Traditional
- Bryant had one of its strongest showings of the year on Saturday, bowling a season-high 974.
- Bryant picked up a win, 945-858, over Coppin State.
- The Bulldog also dropped a narrow match to nationally-ranked Mount St. Mary's, 856-829.
Sunday - Baker
- Bryant closed the weekend with a loss to Howard on Sunday.
Notes and Notables
- Bryant's 974 on Saturday was a team-high for the year.
- Laura Clark posted an individual high for the Bulldogs with a 266.
- Olivia Hillman bowled a pair of 200 games on Saturday, 223 and 216.
- Jenavieve Lyon also had a pair of 200 games, bowling a 220 and 242.
- Stephanie Kotropoulos added a 230.
