WOMEN'S SOCCER RECEIVES ACADEMIC AWARD BY NSCAA

BRYANT WOMEN'S SOCCER EARNS ACADEMIC TEAM AWARD

SMITHFIELD, RI - The Bryant University women's soccer team has been recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) with the 2009 Team Academic Award for the 2008-09 academic year. The award is for teams with a combined grade point average of 3.0 or higher. 

The Bulldogs posted a team GPA of 3.13 with seven earning above a 3.2 GPA and four above a 3.5.  During the 2008-09 year, starting goalie Jessica Clark who has since graduated, was named Bryant's Scholar Athlete of the Year and was also the recipient of the William T. O'Hara Award for Leadership.
