"I thought our team started the game very well and worked hard for the entire 90 minutes. We'll have to keep working to create more clear-cut chances to score as we head towards the next game."

Key Moment

After they were able to steal possession back, Jackson Bennett fired a shot towards goal that deflected off a Bryant defender, then grazed the inside of the left post and rolled across the goal line to give FDU the lead.

Scoring Summary

58th minute – Fairleigh Dickinson 1, Bryant 0 – Elma Kolenovic was able to win the ball back and play it into the box for Bennett, who sent a far post shot off a Bryant defender's back that sent it back towards the near post. It softly hit the pole and then slowly rolled into the net.
