Women's Swimming and Diving earns Scholar All-America honors

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University women's swimming and diving team was recognized for its efforts in classroom on Wednesday, earning Scholar All-America honors from the College Swimming Coaches Association of America (CSCAA) for the third-straight year.

For the first time in the 95-year history of the CSCAA more than 700 teams have received Scholar All-America recognition.  In total, 720 teams, representing 443 institutions achieved a grade point average of 3.0 or higher during the Spring 2017 Semester.

The Bulldogs posted a team GPA of 3.19, its highest in the three years that it has earned Scholar All-America honors. This recognition comes after an outstanding season in the pool that saw the Black and Gold finish second at the Northeast Conference Championships.
