Women's Swimming Win Four Times at UMass

AMHERST, MA- The Bryant women's swimming and diving team captured four event victories during their dual meet with Massachusetts on Saturday. Natalia Kuipers, Erin Doruska, Reagan Lord, and Julia Stenhard all won for the Bulldogs.

Bulldog Notes and Notables

  • Reagan Lord swam to victory in the 100 back with a time of 57.61. She has dominated the event this year, holding the top time in the conference by over two seconds.

  • Natalia Kuipers swam to victory in the 1000 free with a time of 10:42.50. She finished two seconds ahead of the next competitor.

  • Erin Doruska won the 200 free, hitting the wall at 1:56.29. She also swam well in the relays, as her teams finished second in both the 200 medley and 200 free relay events.

  • Julia Stenhard won the 100 fly with a time of 58.16. She holds the NEC's second best time in the event this season, a 56.18 at WPI.

  • Kyri Chambo and Sydney Barnett led the way for the divers. Chambo was Bryant's high scorer in the three meter (183.45), while Barnett led the Bulldogs in the one meter (202.95).

Bryant will return to action this Saturday for Senior Day. They will host Marist in the Chace Center pool at noon.
