BRYANT WOMEN'S TENNIS GARNERS NE-10 AWARDS

SOUTH EASTON, MA - Bryant women's tennis standouts Emma Czarnecki (Huntington Woods, Mich.) and Katharine Francazio (Cranston, R.I.) were named Northeast-10 Conference Player and Freshman of the Week respectively after solid performances last week in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina.

Czarnecki helped lead the Bulldogs to three wins last week with two wins at No. 1 singles and four wins at No. 2 doubles.  One of the victories in singles play was a straight-set win at No. 1 in Bryant's win over Bloomsburg Friday.

Francazio won all four singles matches at No. 5 singles for the Bulldogs.  She also was a straight-set winner against Bloomsburg and added two doubles wins against Clarion and Charleston (WV).
