Baeza named NEC Player of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University women's tennis sophomore Camila Baeza was named the Northeast Conference Player of the Week on Wednesday.

Baeza went 3-0 in singles play last week, helping the Bulldogs go 2-1. She opened the week with a three-set victory against Merrimack at No. 5 singles. Baeza then won a three-set thriller on Sunday vs Sacred Heart before earning a straight-set victory on Tuesday at Quinnipiac.

In addition, Sarah Hickey, Arianna Oropeza and Olivia Rondini were named NEC Prime Performers. Hickey went 2-1 at No. 2 singles, Oropeza went 2-1 at No. 3 singles and Rondini went 2-1 at No. 6 singles.
