One of the foremost names in the history of Northeast-10 Conference women's tennis, Jennifer DiPrete begins her third season as an assistant coach with the Bulldogs.
DiPrete, who also serves as the college's health educator and wellness coordinator, provides her expertise in those areas in addition to her proven experience as a tennis coach.
Before coming to Bryant, DiPrete had served as head coach of women's tennis at Division III UMass Boston for three seasons. She spent the 1999-2000 season as head coach of both the men's and women's programs for the Beacons.
DiPrete led UMass Boston's women's team to its best record in school history in 2001, when the Beacons finished 10-3 overall and placed second in the Little East Conference tournament.
Before joining the staff at UMass Boston, DiPrete had spend two seasons as an assistant coach at Springfield College.
DiPrete was a four-year letterwinner and a two-year captain as an undergraduate at Springfield and was that institution's female athlete of the year in 1995. A two-time All-Northeast-10 Conference selection, DiPrete led the Pride to the NCAA Division II tournament in her senior season.
DiPrete earned an undergraduate degree in rehabilitation science from Springfield before receiving a master's degree in health promotion in 1998.
DiPrete is a resident of Lincoln, R.I.
