Having emerged as one of Bryant's strongest leaders, Geonnotti will play a crucial role in setting the example and motivating a very young Bulldog team. Geonnotti, who will return to her natural position at outside hitter after filling into the setter role as a junior, enters her senior season ranked No. 17 on Bryant's all-time kills list (729) and No. 20 in all-time career points (851.5).
As a junior: Began year as an outside hitter and doubled as a setter midway through 2008 season ... Recorded the program's first triple-double since the 1997 season when she collected 15 kills, 21 assists and 17 digs in the season finale against North Dakota ... Was the only player in the NEC and one of just 35 DI athletes to accomplish such a feat in 2008 ... Played in 34-of-35 matches for the Bulldogs, starting in 32 and playing in 119 sets ... Despite her double roles, Geonnotti finished the year fourth in kills (156), second in assists (190), third in total blocks (35) and fourth in points (183), collecting 100 digs and nine service aces ...
