Volleyball Visits Hartford at 6:00

Bulldog Notes and Notables

• Emma McGovern was named to the all-tournament team at UConn. Her 33 kills in the three matches give her 128 on the season, sixth best in the NEC. 

• Alysa Wright had seven total blocks over the weekend. She is second in the conference with 51 total blocks, and has multiple blocks in all but one match this season.

• Bryant leads the NEC and is 15th in the country in total kills with 634. Their 12.94 kills per set also lead the NEC. The Bulldogs are also tops in the conference in assists, with 575 (11.73 per set).

Scouting the Hawks

• Hartford is off to a 2-10 start this season. They went 4-6 (4-6 America East) in 2020-21.

• Player to Watch: Sophomore setter Morgan Galligan leads the Hawks and is third in the AEC with 329 assists (8.02 per set). She is also third on the team with 19 total blocks.

• Bryant is 13-9 (6-8 DI) against Hartford all-time. Their last matchup was a 3-0 win for the Hawks in Smithfield in 2019.
