Solid performance for Bulldogs at first-ever Vermont Fall Foliage

ST. ALBANS, Vt.  – The Bryant University cross country teams competed in the Vermont Fall Foliage Invitational this afternoon. Matt McGovern (Long Beach, N.Y) and Sarah Freeman (Merrimac, Mass.) lead the way for the Bulldogs finishing in the top spots. Both teams finished third out three teams.

MEET NOTES

  • Freeman, Julia Ayres (Collegeville, Pa.), Caroline Meizen (Douglas, Mass.), Ellie Goyette (Lowell, Mass.), and Kierstin Lock (Salem, N.H.) all improved their times from the last meet. Most notably, Freeman improved her time by one minute and four seconds.
  • Freeman completed the race with her best career finish.
  • Alexander Duncan (Concord, N.H.) also improved his time from the team's last meet by about one minute and 30 seconds.
