Gianna Pizzano, Softball

Pizzano finished her Bryant career by contributing to a Bulldog victory in her final game Saturday against Central Connecticut. Pizzano homered in Game 1 before a 2-for-3 performance with two RBIs in the second game. In the fifth inning of Game 2, Pizzano tagged on Kaleigh Goulart’s sac fly and evaded the tag at the plate for the run-rule walk-off win in a 9-1 victory to close out 2018. Pizzano went 4-for-9 on the week with three RBIs and four runs scored as Bryant went 2-1 in Pizzano's three appearances.
