Wright contributed at the plate and on the mound to help Bryant to its first-ever series victory over an ACC opponent over the weekend at Virginia Tech. In Friday’s series opener, Wright delivered a two-run double and then struck out the side in the ninth in a 6-4 victory. He struck out two in a perfect ninth to close out a 4-2 victory in the series finale. Wright struck out five of the eight batters he faced on the weekend.
