Micah Ornelas, Men's Swimming & Diving

Ornelas swam at U.S. Winter Nationals Friday before returning to the Northeast to help the Bulldogs win the Gompei Invitational. At the U.S. Winter Nationals, Ornelas competed in the 100 fly and earned a spot in the B final, finishing 10th overall with a time of 54.38. Ornelas then rejoined the Bulldogs and won four individual events – 400 IM, 50 fly, 100 IM and 200 fly – and was a part of two relay victories. His time in the 200 fly qualified for the NCAA 'B' cut at 1:46.05.
