Ayres earned All-NEC honors on Saturday at the Northeast Conference Cross Country Championship hosted by Central Connecticut. The sophomore ran a personal-best of 18:34.6 in the 5K run crossing the finish line in the 13th spot. All-NEC honors are awarded to runners who crack the top-14. Ayres led the women to a sixth-place overall finish with 175 points.
