Bio

Senior Associate Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator Beth Wandyes enters her 14th year in 2020-21. Her primary responsibilities include sport administration of women's basketball, men's lacrosse, women's soccer, volleyball, cross country and track and field, overseeing Bryant's NCAA compliance program and acting as liaison to Financial Aid, Admissions and the Academic Center for Excellence.

Wandyes was named Athletic Compliance Coordinator in June 2007 and was promoted to Assistant Athletic Director and Senior Woman Administrator in August of 2008. She was promoted to Associate Athletic Director in 2011 and Senior Associate Athletic Director in 2016. For her continued efforts on behalf of student-athletes, Wandyes was recognized by Bryant's PwC CDI with the Toby Award in 2019. 

A 1996 graduate of Bryant University, Wandyes was an assistant coach for the women's basketball team from 1997 to 2001. During her tenure as an assistant, Wandyes also managed and oversaw Bryant’s Club Sports Program which included over 200 participants. She managed to create and implement an alumni database for the athletic department.

Following her stint at Bryant, Wandyes would go on to coach women's basketball as an assistant from 2001 to 2002 at the University of South Carolina Aiken.  From there she spent two years as the recruiting coordinator and assistant basketball coach at the University of Maryland Baltimore County. 

In June of 2004, she worked at Johnson and Wales University as a Financial Planner and Student Financial Services member.  From there she was promoted to Senior Financial Planner, overseeing all transactions within student accounts and developed procedures for Academic services.

Following two years at Johnson and Wales, Wandyes made her way back to Bryant as an Assistant Director of Financial Aid.

As an undergrad, Wandyes was a four-year letterwinner and captained the women's basketball team her junior and senior seasons. Wandyes was inducted into the Bryant Athletic Hall of Fame in 2007. She currently holds the all-time record for steals in a game, season and career. She is one of only 19 Bryant women’s basketball players to tally more than 1,000 career points.

Wandyes earned her Masters in Sports Leadership from Duquesne University in May 2011. She and her husband, Ryan, have two daughters, Kelsie and Cailyn.
