Bio

The role of the Faculty Athletic Representative is to serve as a liaison representing Bryant University on a national level with the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) and within the Northeast Conference (NEC). Deluga, who will serve as chair of Bryant's Academic Integrity Committee, will advise the university president and director of athletics regarding academic performance and educational experience of student-athletes as well as work with other university administrators in establishing policy and direction for Bulldog Athletics.  

Deluga, now entering his 40th year as a professor of Psychology at Bryant, is a founding chair of the Department of Psychology where he teaches Exercise and Sport Psychology as well as several Directed Studies and Honor Programs.

Deluga will also be a standing member of the four athletic committees: Equity, Academic Integrity, Diversity, and Student-Athlete Welfare and Rules and Governance and Compliance. He has served on the Academic Integrity Committee for the past 13 years.
