Patterson is coming off his second-career complete game shutout, a five-hit blanking of FDU last Saturday. He has not allowed a run over his last 15 innings pitched. Morgese earned a no decision last week after allowing three runs on eight hits over five innings.

Schubert has had a tough season but has been pretty good in NEC play, allowing three earned runs or less in four of his six league starts. He allowed three runs (one earned) on just four hits in 6 1/3 against Central Connecticut earlier this year. Collins was his best in early April when he allowed just two earned runs total in back-to-back starts against FDU and CCSU. Call has been the Mount's best arm and is coming off a two-hit shutout of Sacred Heart last Sunday. McGough also pitched well against the Pioneers last week, allowing just one run and striking out six over 6 1/3 innings.

SERIES HISTORY

Bryant has dominated the all-time series with the Mountaineers, posting a 26-2 record. The Mount won the first two games between the programs in 2010 but the Bulldogs have won the last 26, including a four-game sweep last year in Emmitsburg. Bryant outscored Mount 45-2 in the four games last year.

NOTES AND NOTABLES FOR MOUNT ST. MARY'S

Bryant has won each of its last two games with a walk-off hit. Freshman Jimmy Titus (Stafford, Conn.) hit a walk-off, two-run home run on Sunday against FDU and sophomore Nick Angelini (Bedford, N.H.) hit a walk-off single in the 10th on Wednesday against Northeastern.

It is the first time since 2010 that the Bulldogs have won back-to-back games with a walk-off hit. That year, Bryant walked off twice on the same day against Central Connecticut. Jamie Skagerlind hit a walk-off home run in game one of the doubleheader and David Soltis hit a walk-off, two-run single in game two.

Bryant is now 12-1 at home this season after Wednesday's win. The Bulldogs are hitting .315 and are averaging 8.3 runs per game at Conaty Park this season.           Bryant has hit 26 doubles, nine triples and seven home runs at home.

The Bulldogs have posted 12 come-from-behind wins this year. Four of their last five wins have been come-from-behind victories and 12 of their last 19 wins overall have come after trailing in the game.

Freshman James Ciliento (Mahwah, N.J.) had two hits on Wednesday and is now hitting .364 (12-33) with three doubles, a home run, nine RBI and eight runs scored over his last 10 games.

Classmate Chris Wright (Cumberland, R.I.) singled and walked twice on Wednesday and has now walked 22 times on the year. He also leads the team with 11 hit by pitches and has posted a .421 OBP. Wright is currently working on a 17-game on-base streak.

SCOUTING THE MOUNTAINEERS

Mount St. Mary's comes to Smithfield fresh off a midweek win over Coppin State. The Mountaineers, however, are just 4-16 in NEC play and have posted a 9.01 team ERA. Will Enrico (.327) and Tyler Post (.301) are the only two regulars hitting over .300, while Post has chipped in 12 doubles, three home runs and 24 RBI. Zach Hostetter is also a threat as he leads the team with four home runs.
