Mattison ranked one of top 150 prospects

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University baseball junior Tyler Mattison has been ranked one of the top 150 prospects by D1Baseball.com.

Mattison was ranked No. 142 among the top 150 prospects for the 2020 MLB Draft. He is one of only two players from the Northeast Conference on the list.

As a sophomore, Mattison tied for the team lead with nine wins as he finished 9-1 with a 3.47 ERA in 80.1 innings. He walked 30 and struck out 67. Mattison pitched at least six innings in eight of his last nine starts, capped by a dominant performance in the NEC Tournament when he allowed one run on five hits and struck out nine over six innings.

Mattison is 14-3 with a 3.44 ERA in 29 appearances in the Black and Gold. He's struck out 120 batters in 133.1 career innings.
