Baseball announces Class of 2025

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University baseball head coach Ryan Klosterman announced the signing of eight student-athletes for the Class of 2025 on Wednesday.

The Class of 2025 includes three infielders, two left-handed pitchers, one right-handed pitcher, an outfielder and a catcher. Five are from New England, while the remaining three are from New Jersey, Pennsylvania and South Carolina. 

"I am very excited to announce our 2025 recruiting class," Klosterman said. "This is a special group of student-athletes and families who are excited to continue competing at a high level athletically and academically. This class consists of a great mix of speed, athleticism and power offensively, and also includes a few intriguing arms. It is another great class put together by Coach Hurvul and Coach Pelletier. I can't thank them enough for all of their efforts and hard work during a new era and recruiting environment that they navigated extremely well. "

Jackson Vanesko | LHP | 6-4 | 205 | Ocean City, N.J. | St. Augustine Prep

Vanesko played three seasons of varsity baseball at St. Augustine Prep … Helped team go 26-4 as a sophomore … Led the team in innings pitched … Played with current Bulldog Jack Halbruner.

Zac Zyons | INF | 5-10 | 175 | South Kingstown, R.I. | South Kingstown

Zyons was a four-year starter at short at South Kingstown … Helped team to a 19-4 record and a Division I State Title as a freshman … Hit .473 as a sophomore … 2020 Perfect Game Preseason All-American … Also competed in basketball … National Honors Society.

Cole Wojtkowski | INF | 5-9 | 165 | Pittsfield, Mass. | The Salisbury School

Wojtkowski played two seasons of varsity baseball at The Salisbury School … First Team All-State selection … Part of 13u AABC World Series champion … Fastest man at the Perfect Game Showcase in Florida … Also competed in football, basketball and soccer … Honors student.

Randy Carlo IV | INF | 6-2 | 205 | Sinking Spring, Pa. | Wilson

Carlo was a four-year letterwinner at Wilson … Led team in batting average (.368) as a sophomore … Earned All-Division honors as a sophomore … Played with current Bulldog Damaurys Rodriguez … Played club baseball for MSI Baseball, earning a pair of MVP honors.

Sam Parks | OF | 5-8 | 165 | Marion, Mass. | Tabor Academy

Parks was a four-year letterwinner at Tabor Academy … Posted a .423 OBP, 30 stolen bases and 31 runs scored in first two seasons … All-ISL Second Team selection as a sophomore … Overall Greatest Contribution to Tabor Athletics as a junior … Also competed in soccer and JV Hockey … Honor Roll student.

Bradley Lewis | LHP | 5-10 | 170 | Greer, S.C. | James L. Mann

Lewis was a three-year varsity letterwinner at James L. Mann … Part of team that was ranked first in the region … Helped team win region and district titles in 2019 … Ranked No. 8 left-handed pitcher in state of South Carolina … Competed in South Carolina Palmetto Games … National Honors Society.

Jacob Gaudreau | C | 5-9 | 190 | Burrillville, R.I. | La Salle Academy

Gaudreau was a three-year varsity letterwinner at La Salle Academy … Helped team go 23-4 and finish second in the state … Threw out all but one baserunner attempting to steal … Also played basketball … Played club for New England Scorpions … Won 2017 USSSA World Series and Northeast Select World Series … Won 2020 All-Scout Northeast Showcase … National Honors Society … Mother is a Bryant grad … Aunt, Raquel Ferreira, is the Executive Vice President/Assistant General Manager for the Boston Red Sox.

Kyle Rizy | RHP | 6-8 | 240 | Fiskdale, Mass. | Worcester Academy
