Bryant Falls to Northeastern on Tuesday
Brookline, MA – The Bryant University baseball team fell to Northeastern 1-0 in a midweek game on Tuesday in Brookline. Austin Wainer started and tossed four scoreless innings for the Bulldogs.

How it Happened
· Austin Wainer and NU's Eric Yost traded zeroes through the first four innings before Logan Frasier came on for Bryant. Wainer retired the final ten batters he faced.
· The Bulldogs had a scoring opportunity in the fifth when a single by Shane Kelly and a double by Logan Allen put two runners in scoring position, but both were stranded.
· The Huskies scored on three straight singles in the sixth inning.
· Bryant forced Northeastern to go to the bullpen in the seventh after a pinch hit single by Matt Smith and a Shane Kelly hit-by-pitch, but they again could not score.
· John MacDonald finished the game for the Bulldogs out of the bullpen, throwing two scoreless innings.
