Bulldogs fall to No. 25 UConn on Wednesday

STORRS, Conn. – The Bryant University baseball team fell to No. 25 UConn, 9-1, on Wednesday afternoon at Elliot Ballpark.

Alex Lane led the Bulldogs with two hits, while Damaurys Rodriguez reached safely three times with a hit, a walk and a hit by pitch. Carmine Petosa drove in the lone run.

John MacDonald allowed one run on two hits in a 2.0-inning start. Coleman Picard retired all three batters he faced an inning of relief.
