SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University baseball team welcomes Sacred Heart to Conaty Park for a three-game series this weekend. First pitch in the series is set for 3:00 p.m. on Friday.

Bryant vs. Sacred Heart

• Bryant owns a 31-17 record against Sacred Heart. The Bulldogs and Pioneers have not played since the 2019 season. Bryant won two-of-three that weekend. 
• The Black and Gold and the Pioneers are one of the league's premier rivalries. They've met in the NEC Championship in 2013, 2014 and 2015.  

Bulldog Notes and Notables

• Bryant enters the weekend at 15-18 overall and 5-7 in the NEC. The Bulldogs posted an 8-7 victory over Northeastern on Wednesday and are coming off a series win over Merrimack last weekend.  
• Matt Woods has been one of the hottest hitters in the country, going 15-for-22 with 13 RBI his last four games. He's hitting .393 with 13 doubles, four triples and five home runs. 
• Alex Lane became the seventh player in DI program history with 10+ home runs in a single season on Tuesday. He leads the league with 10 and has driven in 34 runs.
• Logan Allen has upped his average to .308 and has stolen a team-high seven bases.
