BULLDOGS CHEER TO DAYTONA

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – This past Sunday, March 31st the Bryant University Cheer and Dance teams hosted a New England NDA/NCA Annual Send Off here on campus in anticipation for the NCA & NDA Collegiate Cheer and Dance Competition occurring in Daytona, Florida this week. The Send Off brought together the Northeast Cheer and Dance teams to showcase their hard work in front of 600 spectators before performing at Nationals.

There were fifteen total routines performed at the event, seven of which by the Bulldogs, and the rest by UMass Lowell, the College of Holy Cross, Bridgewater State University, Johnson and Wales University, Worcester Polytech Institute, Curry College, Central Connecticut State University, Stonehill College, Assumption College, Springfield College, UMass Amherst, Merrimack College, and the University of New England.

The Cheer team will be performing as a Spirit Program, alongside the Dance team, which is a Game Day Routine that showcases their fight song, band dance, and chant. The team will be performing their routine in the Game Day division of the competition. Both the Cheer and Dance teams will be leaving for Daytona on Tuesday, April 2nd, and practice all day on Wednesday, compete in the Preliminary rounds on Thursday, and if they advance, the Final round on Friday!
