HOCKEY FALLS TO SACRED HEART

BRIDGEPORT, C.T. – The Bryant University Men’s Ice Hockey team traveled to the Wonderland of Ice arena on Friday, November 22nd to face Sacred Heart University for the second time this season.

  • Sacred Heart University 7 – 4 Bryant University 

Game Info

  • #8 Matt Toner scored the first point of the game on the redirect from #18 Tyler Reynolds 

  • #17 Malthe Helt buried an unassisted goal towards the end of the first period 

  • #17 Malthe Helt returned again to close the first period ahead 3-2 with assistance from #29 Nick Glass 

  • #6 Connor Henderson slipped an unassisted goal in midway through the third period 

Highlights

  • During the second period, Sacred Heart was able to get ahead of the Bulldogs with four goals  

  • The Bulldogs were outshot 33 – 54 SOG  

  • Bryant maintains a season record of 7 wins and 5 losses 

  • #18 Tyler Reynolds leads the team with 22 points for the season so far
