BIG WEEKEND FOR CLUB LACROSSE
SMITHFIELD, R.I.-- The Men’s Club Lacrosse team hosted two days of Lacrosse, with one game and then a three-team tournament on their home field this past weekend.

- Friday: Bryant vs. Merrimack (10-4 Win)
- Sunday Game 1: Bryant vs. UMass (9-8 Loss)
- Sunday Game 2: Bryant vs. Quinnipiac (10-4 Loss)

Friday the team came out strong for their first win of the season. Evan Leonard had a 60% faceoff win percentage which helped the team take control of the game.

Saturday, UMass came out strong and beat the team down 8-3 going into the 4th quarter. The team rallied back to take control, but couldn’t beat UMass. In the remaining one minute, Mike Fornal had a game-saving goal, which gave the Dawgs hope with 30 seconds left.

Game 2 on Sunday was hard for the Bulldogs, as they were strained from the first game. However, Mike Fornal had outstanding goaltending.
