MEN'S CLUB LAX SUMS UP YEAR AFTER SPRING SEASON CANCELLATION

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- All club sports were canceled for the remainder of the 2020 Spring semester due to COVID-19 after Bryant University’s Spring break in March. We asked members of our club sports to sum up some of the best, worst, and cherished times together. Read below to learn more about Men’s Club Lacrosse and how they summed up their year.

Unfortunately, the season was cut short just as the Club Lacrosse team was starting up our games. We started this season off against the University of Rhode Island, which was some great competition from out of our league. We put up a great fight against them and they were a legitimate team that has played nationally for a championship the past couple of years. Although COVID-19 interrupted our season, we were able to play one last game right before spring break against Nichols College. This was by far the most fun our team had during a game because we were scoring nonstop and playing together really well. Everyone was able to get their chance to just go out there and have fun playing a sport that they love. I think that our team will miss the comradery the most because we see ourselves as a family in a sense, and being able to go out there every week and compete with one another was unbelievable”.

Club Lacrosse looks forward to starting back up next season as they continue to build a strong team and name for themselves.
