TOUGH FIGHT AND A TOUGH LOSS

SMITHFIELD, R.I. -- The Men’s Rugby team hosted Holy Cross this past weekend on 10/19 at 11AM. They took a hit but the team fought hard throughout the whole game. 

Final Score 

• Bryant: 18 

• Holy Cross: 60 

Game Info 

• Yellow card issued to Jack Veglas for body-slamming a player on the opposing team

• Bryant was up 18-7 halfway through but didn't play as well in the second half 

Highlights 

• Jack Veglas intercepted a pass and ran it back for a try 

• Oscar Pinero merged the opposing wing to score another try

• The team will be competing against Plymouth State University next Saturday, October 26th at 5PM at home
