Comments:

  • From coach Sperry: “We started off the weekend strong with a win against Fairfield in 2 sets with a strong serve receive which allowed Dan Clout to run an effective offense and score at will by dumping. Yale tested our hitting the first set with large blocks. However, we were able to adjust and use high hands to score many points within the second set, unfortunately just falling short. We were able to carry over what we had learned from playing Yale and used high hands shots effectively against CCSU and also blocked very well against them. Lastly, against URI we were able to pick up our defense and serve receive for the last match of the day.”
