Clark named NEC Rookie of the Week

SOMERSET, N.J. – Bryant University freshman quarterback Ryan Clark was named the Northeast Conference Rookie of the Week on Monday.

The first true freshman to start a game at Bryant since 2004, Clark completed 18-of-26 passes for 183 yards and also rushed for 21 yards and a touchdown on the afternoon. His 22-yard touchdown scamper helped the Black and Gold put the game away in the fourth quarter.

In addition, Jack Daly was named an NEC Prime Performer. Daly posted five tackles and 1.5 sacks to lead a Bryant defense that allowed just seven points for the second-straight week.
