Rauff earns All-NEC Second Team honors

STATEN ISLAND, N.Y. – Freshman Taryn Rauff (Johannesburg, South Africa) earned All-Northeast Conference Second Team honors for dominant performance during the 2019 season as announced Thursday at the pre-tournament awards banquet in Staten Island.

Rauff represents the Black and Gold as the lone Bulldog to receive All-Conference recognition. The rookie led Bryant with four goals, and the team's only two game-winning goals that helped the Bulldogs top both Lehigh and Wagner. Rauff's first collegiate season was highlighted by a spotlight on ESPN's SportsCenter Top-10 Play reel coming in at number five. The top-ranked goal was the equalizer at Holy Cross that sent the game into double overtime.

The South African native closed out her rookie campaign starting in all 19 games and tallying eight points, 29 shots, and 18 shots on goal.
