Nelson, Swanston tabbed captains for 20-21

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – Bryant University field hockey head coach Laura Gebhart has appointed Kylie Nelson and Lyndsay Swanston captains for the 2020-21 season.

"I'm excited to announce both Kylie and Lyndsay as our captains for the 2020-2021 season," Gebhart said. "They have displayed immense growth, humility, and dedication over the past few months. Kylie and Lyndsay each bring unique attributes that will enable them to lead the team through the unique opportunities this year presents."

Nelson has appeared in 54 games over the course of her Bryant career, posting four goals and eight points. She played in all 19 games a season ago and has started 30 of Bryant's last 40 games.

Swanston has made 24 appearances and 13 starts in goal for the Black and Gold. She owns a pair of victories and is a three-time academic honor roll selection.
