Bryant falls to SHU on Senior Day

SMITHFIELD, R.I. – The Bryant University field hockey team celebrated its five-member Class of 2021 on Thursday afternoon against Sacred Heart. The Pioneers earned a 3-0 victory. 

Prior to the game, Bryant recognized Kathryn Doorley, Madison Demand, Lyndsay Swanston, Kylie Nelson and Lauren Zimmerman.

  • Sacred Heart scored twice within a minute late in the first half to grab a 2-0 lead.

  • Q2 - 25:32 - Hannah Fawle converted a penalty stroke to give the Pioneers the lead.
  • Q2 - 26:39 - Mikayla Van Horn was able to knock home a loose ball to make it 2-0.
  • Q4 - 48:58 - Isabell Chamberlain fired a shot inside the near post.
