Bryant earns NABC Team Academic Excellence Award

KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The Bryant University men's basketball program has been named as a recipient of the National Association of Basketball Coaches' Team Academic Excellence Award for the 2019-20 academic year, as announced Thursday by the NABC.

Bryant is a recipient of the NABC Team Academic Excellence Award for the first time in program history. The Bulldogs posted a program-record 3.27 GPA in the 2019-20 academic year – the best in the NEC – and were one of two conference teams on the list, joining St. Francis Brooklyn.

Nick Crocker (East Falmouth, Mass.) and Mikail Simmons earned recognition as part of the NABC Honors Court, an award earned by juniors and seniors with a 3.2 cumulative GPA or higher through the end of 2019-20.
